Unhappy The DVD has a VGA outlet but the screen does not turn on
My Dvd has a VGA outlet and I tried connecting my compter screen to it but it would not turn on, why?

Right before and after I had it connected to my mac and it work good.

I have DVD's that I bought when I lived in USA that will not work on my swedish mac, but it will work on my dvd (but I do not have a tv for it).

Does anyone to do?

Thank you

Do you mean you have a stand alone DVD Player? I have never heard of one that supported VGA output. Can you please let us know the brand name and model number of it.

I have seen them, but I cannot imagine why it doesnt seem to work. Unless you would need to set the option in a menu to activate the VGA... that seems counter productive though if you need another screen to activate the VGA
