Hey Guy's.
Another problem here.
I have a DELL PS/2 Keyboard and its working fine but when i go into my bios the keyboard is inactive. does anyone know why?
i have heard about an F lock key but i dont think i have one and i have also tried another keyboard which also was inactive during bios setup.
any help will be appreciated, thank you.

Are you getting any error stating Keyboard failure or the like during the initial boot up of the computer?

no, no error messages or anything. computer boots up like normal. its only when i press f2 to access the bios the keyboard becomes inactive but if i push num lock or caps lock the light will go on and off.

Have you tried a USB keyboard?
You may need a BIOS update.
