Question Installing NVIDIA GeForce4MX440 Vid Card
I play a lot of Runescape and recently had my video card bite the dust. In replacing it, I decided to get one that would take advantage of Runescape's higher definition graphics. The one I purchased is an NVIDIA GeForce4MX440 3D Video Graphics card. I installed the card and downloaded and installed a driver for it. Now when I start up Runescape, I can get the higher graphics background at the sign in menu (shows random scenes from the game) but when I sign in, it locks up. OR I can sign in with the standard graphics setting, log in and once inside the game, change the graphics mode at which point it again freezes up. Below is my system information, general and display. I suspect that it is a "setting" problem that I am overlooking. Any ideas to help?
Thanks,
Gig

The GeForce4MX440 is a really old card , and you are running Windows XP on a system that has only 256MB of RAM. Both of those are probably contributing to the problem. Is there a chance you could upgrade both the video card and the RAM?
