Hello i have a Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe (3 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 2 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR DIMM, Audio, Dual Gigabit LAN, IEEE-1394) mother board with CPU Type DualCore AMD Athlon 64 X2, 2000 MHz (10 x 200) 3800+ and 3g of memory.

I have a NVIDIA GeForce 6800 (128 MB) Graphics card in it and would like so advice on what would be a better card to have in my system i have about £60 - £80 pounds to spend

and i'm running xp home os

Radeon 4670 is good in that budget range, make sure you find the HIS IceQ Turbo version of it (512 MB memory, overclocked) nVidia choices are 8600 GT, 9500 GT and 9600 GT.

BUT: you will most propably need a new power supply to run those, or any decent graphics card. Could you open your case and post the model and 12 V rail amperages (xx A on 12 V(1&2(&3))) of the power supply.
