No sound on Dell Dimension 310
I've got a Dell Dimension 310 Service Tag: JGYRJ91 with Windows XP.
It had some serious malware issues so we re-installed Windows and found that we didn't have the driver disks anymore. Dell sent them and I thought I got everything up and running again, but now the speakers don't put out sound for anything.
My Device Manager Menu has a Yellow exclamation point for "IDT high definition audio codec driver" and it says "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" when I check the properties on it.
When I click the troubleshoot button, it says to uninstall, but I want to check here first if that's the best thing to do. I'm worried about getting it back.
The Network Controller is yellow on the Device Manager Menu as well.
I tried several times to install drivers for these two things but the computer couldn't locate them or find newer ones.

According to the service tag number for your Dell Dimension 310, the XP drivers for the sound device and network adapter are:

SIGMATEL STAC 92XX C-Major HD Audio

Driver Version: 5.10.0.4823

Intel (R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection

Driver Version: 8.0.15.0

------------------------------------------------------------------

The Intel site has a more current driver version 13.5(8.0.47.0) for that network adapter.
