Black Screen HP Pavilion dv2000
I have an HP pavilion dv2000. When I turn on the computer it boots, shows me the options and everything, but after the windows symbol shows, the screen goes completely black. Everything works properly if I boot it in safemode, which is how I have been using it lately. I've tried the battery trick, as well as resetting my bios settings. The fact that it works in safemode tells me its not a problem with my video card, or monitor connection. I have also run a virus scanner in safemode.... nothing came up. Any other ideas?

Have you tried changing your resolution? Or do you have a dual monitor setup?
Try uninstalling the video card in safe mode, then restart and see what happens
