Exclamation Urgent: USB Flash Drive Wont work on windows 98 : (
I'm Stumped.
I plugged the flash drive into the old machine, and popped up with the normal "install new hardware" crap. IT said no drivers available, and wouldnt work at all.

Would there be any loopholes around this? Do I need a certain program? or do I need an outdated Flash Drive??

HELPP!

Cool Drivers
With win98 you need drivers for everything, there was very little if none at all support for plug and play etc. back then.

Whats the make and model of your flash drive?

Depending on the model you may find Windows 98 drivers here: http://www.memorex.com/support/suppo...p?SECTION=NONE
Windows 98 being so old, many newer models do not have drivers available.

IF they do NOT list drivers for your model then you can try this generic one: http://www.technical-assistance.co.uk/kb/usbmsd98.php
