Solved: Will it fit?
I'm trying to put together a system with 2 XFX 9800GTX+ cards (got one as a present) on an XFX Nvidia 750i mobo. So this is a 2 part question - Will both the cards fit on the mobo? I seem to remember reading somewhere that this card occupies more than standard space.
The other question is, can my power supply handle the demands of both the cards? I'm using a 600W PSU from Cooler Master
Thanks for your time guys.

I cannot tell you if it will fit or not, I do not have the system in front of me. I can tell you, you need a new pw supply if you intend to run two 9800 type cards. That pw supply only puts out 18amp on each of its two 12V rails. You are going to need something like >45amp depending on the other parts in your system.

FWIW sli is nothing more than a gimmick to sell more video cards. The technology is not new. It has been around since the mid 90s.

IMO you would be better off with a single 295 or ati 4870.

Hmm, yeah, I guess to be honest I was just tired of getting crappy results off of my old GPU and decided to indulge in a little overkill. Guess I'll lay off the dual idea and stick with a decent card. Thanks for the help.
