Laptop won't work with battery
This is an unusual problem that I haven't been able to find a problem to,
I have a Compaq N600C and when the battery is in the laptop, it won't turn on and the LED charging/battery light won't turn on, however if I remove the physical battery from the laptop, I cn run the laptop straight off AC power. Is there anything I can do, or do I require a new battery or..? Any suggestions would be fantastic,
Thanks.

It sounds like the battery may be shorted, shutting down the charger/adapter. Not exactly what you wanted to hear, I'm sure. I guess you could be lucky it didn't kill your charger!
