Can i Transfer My HDD
I have made a new computer and i was wondering if it is possible for me to transfer my hard drive from my old computer to my new one and get it to boot in the operating system that is installed on the hard drive.

I have tried swapping the drives over but i get stuck on a message saying " Verifying DMI pool"

Maybe i did something wrong.

Help would be appreciated Steve,

Won't work that way.
System configuration, components and drivers are all different.
Would work as a slave drive, but not as a primary like you seem to want.

You can probably get this to work with a repair install if you really want to.
