Please help.
I recently tried updating my mobile intel graphics media accelerator gm965, i'm running an acer aspire 5920, 120gb hd, duo core processor with an intel chipset. I uninstalled the graphics driver and reverted to 16-bit basic graphics. The update had been lingering around windows update for a good few months. And when i tried to install the update it didn't work. I've tried doing everything i can but my efforts seem to be futile, this is what appears in setupapi.dev.log:

Had to put blocks of it in 'cos the forum doesn't support enough characters, but that's the basic jist of the problems.
Any help would be appreciated.

Choose hide update for that driver on windows update,then go to the
acer website support section and download the proper driver for your
computer.

Heya, i have done so. The following is from an install error from the actualy installation from the intel site and the acer site. Halfway through the program it says "setup will exit due to an unknown error". This is all the info i have on the error.
