IBM ThinkCentre S51 - very slow POST
I have a IBM ThinkCentre S51 with newest BIOS-version.

After upgrading the build-in IDE CD-ROM to a SATA DVD-RW drive (Sony OptiArc AD-7170S) the POST process of the PC takes about 1 minute (instead of a few seconds). After that windows boots up as fast as ever and the DVD-drive works fine. Therefore the operating system is not causing the problem.

I have already tested the DVD drive in a different PC (HP Compaq) and there are no problems caused by the DVD drive in this PC.

During the installation of the DVD drive i have reseted the BIOS setup options to their standard values.
According to the already outdated thread IBM Thinkcentre Starts Slow this problem might be caused by some BIOS settings.
I have tried to fix the problem using the suggestions in this thread, but this hasn't solved my problem.

It would be very helpful if there are any suggestions how to solve this problem or if someone with a similar setup (ThinkCentre S51 with SATA harddrive and SATA DVD-RW) can send me his BIOS settings, so that I can use a set of proved settings.
