New HDD: 1.5TB, questions.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148337

This looks like an AMAZING deal and a great price. 1.5TB(Enough for what I do really...), and as fast as a Raptor in certain things.(According to many reviews, this is ACTUALLY TRUE!, but only during certain operations)

It's specs are excellent and price is flawless. It has 750 5 star ratings, but...350 bad star ratings. I read ALOT about the Barracuda and it has some serious issues I've read with locking up and stuff. I don't know if they've been completely resolved by now, though. =/

Seagate also has a reputation as the King of HDD's...

Western Digital is also another very well known name for HDD's. It's 10$'s more, it's specs are the same, but I read it's not quite as fast as the Barracuda in some respects, but I also read about a variety of RAID issues with it, so much so it can cause the Drive to die!

What do I do? They're the only ones on Newegg with 1.5TB HDD's out, at great prices, but both listed as having serious flaws!

Thank you.
