Ipod trouble!
I am having trouble using my ipod and external hard drive at the same time. I store my music on the external because it won't all fit on my C drive, so I have set my itunes to locate the music on the external. But when I plug in my ipod to sync it, the computer does not recognzie the USB device. Without the external plugged in, the computer recognizes the ipod just fine, but then I can't sync it. I have tried all sorts of combinations, such as plugging in the external first, then booting up the computer and plugging in the ipod, or having the ipod in and then putting in the external, but it immediately ejects the ipod. Right now, the computer recognizes the external as F and the ipod as E, so they are not the same disk letters. How do I get both of them working at the same time so I can sync the ipod?
