laptop won't keep accurate time
My Toshiba Sattelite A135-S2276 won't keep accurate time even when plugged in to power. It is always at least a half hour off. Any ideas why?

If this happens with the laptop is running and the time slowly gets more inaccurate, it's probably a service that is interfering with the timer interrupt. If the time is correct as long as it's running, it's probably the battery that keeps the clock chip running.

Its probably the battery running out of juice. You can buy Clock Batteries for laptops for cheaps but it only serves as a temporary solution. What you can do is sync with a time server, its more accurate that a silicon vibrating till kingdom come. I sync mine with time.windows.com
