Hi, got through the day yesterday without computer shutting down. Whilst running the scans it did reach as high as 89c but mostly stayed about 79 - 81c. Of course I don't know if this is what the temps have been, prior to my problem. As soon as scan finished temp dropped to about 65 fluctuating a little. I think it does seem as if the excessive hot weather could have something to do with it and my Belkin fan (underneath) doesn't seem to be helping to cool? I will just have to monitor the position. I can't yet say it is solved. Many thanks.
