Solved: Need sound and modem driver for this Satellite A55
Toshiba Satellite model A55-S326

There are no sound or modem drivers that I can find at the Toshiba site for this laptop. See attached image of the the ID sticker on the bottom of the laptop. Anyone know where I can find them?

FYI: I don't have a system recovery disk and don't want to pay $50 shipping to get their "free" system recovery. I've installed Windows XP Pro with SP3 from an off-the-shelf retail disk. I have everything working except the sound and modem.

Perfect.

I don't know how you found them. I did a search in every way I could think of and got onlyt a partial listing that didn't include video, sound or modem.

Thanks!

Just got lucky I guess. I noticed that model wasn't listed on the main downloads page. ...

One would think that if one clicked "Services and Support" from the main page, it would actually take you in the direction of service, support, drivers, etc. But, what would I know; I'm just one whom the pages are supposed to be designed to help.

I wonder why this doesn't surprise me?
