Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3.2GHz
Motherboard: Foxconn N15235
RAM: 2GB 800MHz
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce 9400GT
Hard Drive: Western Digital 80GB
PSU: 650w Atrix Twin Fan Blue LED Clear | | Moderator with 27,372 posts. | | Join Date: Dec 2002 Location: Canada Experience: Computer Engineering Tech | | Thats not a valid Foxconn motherboard model unless its an OEM board and those usually have another number printed on the board itself as well. If its an OEM/big box brand system then we'd need to know the model of the system.
Depending on what the motherboard is and what it supports then going to a dual core processor would help performance quite substantially.
And 'improve this system' is realyl vague - what areas does it need improvement in? Gaming, video/audio editing, general office use, etc?

I think they took a foxconn mobo and changed it slightly. Any way any improvement to speed will be good. | | Distinguished Member with 6,903 posts. | | Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Wichita, KS Experience: Priceless | | Where is it slow? That should be a decent all around performer, but if that HD is a full 80GB 5400RPM drive, then simply a new bigger 7200 RPM'er would work wonders.
What apps are you running?
What Operating system? | | Senior Member with 618 posts. | | Join Date: Jan 2009 Experience: Intermediate | | I mainly use it for the internet (firefox) Downloading (Bitcomet) and Google Earth. I also watch youtube videos a lot aswell. I am just trying to find a way to give a bit more poke loading things if you know what I meen. | | Senior Member with 165 posts. | | Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Out there somewhere Experience: Been around the block | | Depending on how full the hard drive is, as mentioned above, a larger one would help.
And don't say Bitcomet around here That'll get your post closed real quick | | Distinguished Member with 6,903 posts. | | Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Wichita, KS Experience: Priceless | | Google earth seems to be your real big app then, in that case...
More hard drive, faster hard drive and us the old 80GB as a dedicated scratch disk, more RAM wouldn't hurt either, a professional graphics card might help too...
Best bet, RAM/ Hard drive just from what I have gathered.
