I would seriously advise you to get rid of the Okia power supply you have and replace it with a better quality unit. The Okia is pretty near the bottom of the barrel as far as power supply's go, and when they blow, many times they take out the motherboard and other components.

Any suggestions for power supply? I saw a Corsair 400w on newegg is that a good idea?

A corsair 400W unit should be fine for that system. You might want to look at this Corsair 550W unit for only about $7 more, it has about 40% more power on the 12V rail. If you ever want to go with a high end video card, it would be a much better choice and for only $7 more it is hard to beat.

BTW with an intel board, I would only be installing crucial, corsair, or kingston ram. The reason is that you cannot adjust the ram voltage in the bios. High performance ram often needs a higher voltage than the stock ram. The gskill you linked to is only a slight voltage increase so it should work in your board however no guarantee.

Ok well i took one stick of memory out and ran the memory diagnostic tool and it said no errors. I took the other stick out of my computer. I only have 1 2gb stick in now. I then tried to reboot and it wasnt able to boot into vista. I then did the seatool for dos and on the short test it found no errors, on the long test it found one but didnt say what it was. It was able to fix it and when i restarted it i had the same problem, not being able to load windows. Where do i stand now? Is there anything else i can do to find out whats wrong? Why it wont load windows? Thanks in advance for any further input.

No i havent, but i just restarted it again in started right back up it must have been the HD. I dont know why it didnt start before but its fine now and seems steady. But I still have to run some more tests and see if my other stick of ram is good before i start using both again. Thank you everyone for all the help.

No i havent changed the power supply. But i know i need to do that soon ill have to order a new one on newegg in the next day or 2.
