Is the standard RAM in a Dell Optiplex GX270 compatible with a Dell Intel Pentium 4 processor pc? I want to know if it's possible to transfer that RAM to my old intel pc.

Could well be...You'll need to post more info on the computer you're trying to put the RAM into.

We need to know what brand and model motherboard is in the P4 computer, or just the model number of the computer.

We need to know either the model number of the second computer , the one you list as Dell Intel Pentium 4 processor pc or we need to know what motherboard is in it to be able to answer your question properly.

It's pretty probable that they'll work. You should try it out.

These should be all compatible: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...8PC%202700%29# Crucials are guaranteed so, as per here: http://www.crucial.com/store/listpar...20All%20Models
