I am right there with you. I also have a laptop running Vista and when I turn it on everything seems to be running fine, but I just get a blank black screen. My warrenty just ran out and can not seem to find out what is wrong with it. I was using it, shut it down, and when I went to use it again that is when all this started happening. Can someone please help us

I got the solution. It is an nvidia problem. Just go to nvidia site and download the right update drive for your notebook and everything is perfect and properly solved.
