Question Not recoginising my external hard drive
My computer has all of a sudden decided it does not want to acknowledge i have plugged in my external harddrive. The harddrive is working fine on other computers. And the USB slot on my computer is working because when i plug it in the lights come on and the hard drive spins, but it does not come up in "my computer".

At first when i went into "manage devices" it said that the USB mass memory storage had a code 10 error. After looking on loads of forums i found somewhere that it said to unistall all my USB devices and restart then reinstall... i have tried this and its still not working. It now also doesnt even acknowledge my external hard drive in the sense that it nolonger even says code 10 error.

please help ......
