Lightbulb ACER keyboard Problem
The keys don't work when I use the computer and go into xp doesn't allow me to type when i try the keys just beeps (using a mother board speaker) its puzzling because it was working fine I'm just wondering if its a "locked key board" or something of the like, because can use the mouse and browse the internet

its a single beep

any button i press makes the same sound i cant type and im using my iphone to post this question

even ctrl+alt+del doesn't work
safe mode has the same problem
everything else is working fine like it should
and if the solution involves using cmd or anything keyboard related it would be extremely difficult to do

HELP please

Desktop or notebook. You have provided no info and people here cannot read minds.

Completely turn off computer. Unplug from wall for 20+ seconds. If a notebook, pull battery too.

Try again.

Buy a new $10~30 USB keyboard.

If that doesn't work, try tapping repeatedly on the Ctrl, Alt, Shift and Windows keys. One of them may be stuck. If not one of them, try smacking all the keys with an open palm.

If you open Notepad and hit a key, does anything show up? If a stuck character key, I'd expect a continuous line of that letter/number.
