During the render process they were as high as 77 deg.

What bothers me the most is the fact that I find so many threads where people write about their i7 CPU reaching 100 deg. or even higher temperatures. And they don't have any problems with that.

I'm quite desperate right now as I'm really not sure what's the real cause of the problem. If I buy additional fans and the problem persists, I have no idea how I will finish my diploma...

Does it only BSOD under heavy load?

I guess so - never happened to me under any other circumstances.

I would guess it is a heat issue with the CPU or gaphics card.......clean all dust out of the PC.....including the heatsink fan
