Dell monitor crisis...
Okay, I have the 17" E170S monitor (I think) that came with the B110 bundle. Within the past 24 hours, it has developed an alarming problem.

For some reason, the monitor's power suddenly cuts out. The screen goes black and so does the power indicator light. The monitor will (sometimes) power back up for seconds to minutes, only to lose power again. At first I thought that perhaps I had a loose power connection. Nope. Everything is hooked up tight.

Then I tried to access the monitor's menu... only to find that the menu, - and + buttons all turn the power off now!! Here's the kicker... the power button doesn't turn the monitor off or on anymore, but the menu, - and + buttons still do!!

Level with me here. Is my monitor FUBAR?!

Sure sounds like it! If the system is not under warranty, you may be looking at replacing it.

I've had good luck with Samsung LCD monitors. Inexpensive, good image, nice warranty (3 years).
