New computer, old monitor.
I just bought a new computer (Acer Aspire Desktop E5300) but I wasn't planning on getting a new monitor with it. I have an LCD monitor, but it isn't widescreen. Will I still be able to use this with my new computer? When I was looking for an LCD screen for my current computer, I was unable to get a widescreen because my current computer doesn't have an option for widescreen resolution.

I don't see any reason for a regular resolution LCD screen not to work. You might need an DVI to VGA adapter if the new comp only has DVI display ports and the screen only has VGA, but otherwise, it will be compatible.
