Exclamation BSOD BCCODE 100000ea
Greetings, I have looked all over for a solution for this problem. I have followed all the steps recommended by Microsoft, by HP, and by the people at ATI, Driver Heaven, and more. I have Installed all the flavors of Vista on my laptop. Still the error persists. I understand it has to do with the video card drivers. I've installed the latest, the oldest, some in between, etc. The posts I found here at your forums did not help either. What is very strange is that if I run any 3D game, the system stays stable. I installed GTA IV and left it running all night long, and nothing bad happens. Done the same with other games, same result. As a matter of fact the problem started even before I installed any games, and it happens randomly, and only while using Windows Explorer, and lately while working on Open office. I have sat to play for hours without any crashes. It's only when I work, that crashes happen.

Here is a copy of the error:

BCCode: 100000ea
BCP1: FFFFFA8006AD4700
BCP2: 0000000000000000
BCP3: 0000000000000000
BCP4: 0000000000000000
OS Version: 6_0_6001
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 768_1

I am attaching the files mentioned in the error log.

I'm stuck. I just bought this PC but currently am in Colombia for 6 months working. I know I can return the PC but would have to ship it back to the US. The guarantee is not valid outside the US. I would really appreciate any help.

In the zip file you can find a sysinfo export in txt format. Since I'm in Colombia, the Vista I'm using right now(testing purposes only) is in Spanish, sorry.

Yes it seams to be a hardware error code.

I sudgest that you download the latest drivers from the ATI site (64bit version) and save onto cd or usb stick.

Within hardware manager - remove display adapter.

Restart laptop and when it asks to show location of new hardware just press cancel.

Now run the driver pack which you previously downloaded.

Hopefully this will resolve the problem.

I have already done that. I have installed at least four different versions. Thank you for taking your time to respond to my post any way.

Any other suggestions? I'm still stuck here. I've been all around the web with this, no answers. I'm gonna have to return my PC.
