Unhappy AHHH Need help setting this up
So I got a used Computer that was wiped out, and I needed it for school. I have been using my wireless usb adapter, well we just had Verizon FIOS put into our home and they just connected me to the Router thru the wire, Im no longer needing to use wireless which works out better because of signal issues.

But now that I have the ethernet cord plugged in, its saying it cant connect to the internet, there was no driver or anything.. Except for my Wireless adapter Driver. Sooo Now what?? =(

I see Something that says PCI Device and Ethernet Controller but They arent working..they have big exlamation marks next to them in the driver lists.

All i know is that I had to plug my wireless adapter back in for now which really sucks, because Verizon just spent 2 hours drilling holes and Connecting me to my router with the ethernet cord. I have windows 2000 and its a Used Computer... But heres my Log..

You really need to find out your ethernet card model, and get drivers for it if it doesn't work without drivers (as it doesn't...)
PC Wizard might be able to tell you that. http://www.cpuid.com/download/pcwizard/pcw2009_v189.exe

Thank You sooo much! Got the internet working now! The only problem Im having now is I am suppose to be up to about 20mbps with my new FIOS account...The other household computer is good, Mine However is only at a bout 1.34mbps , When I was on wireless it was 3.50mbps.... and when I was using Linux on this computer using FIOS, my speed was very high abuot 17.mbps ....Now that i have windows configured to run and read my ethernet and its connected, Im very happy But Would anyone know why My Internet isnt picking up the way it should?? Ive used about 3 different speed testers, and Im staying at about 1.34-1.40mbps
