Unhappy Core 2 Quad upgrade?
My Dell Vostro 1510 laptop has started to become a bit sluggish despite my near-obsessive cleaning and virus scans. I want to know whether it is possible to upgrade the CPU in it.

Currently, it uses a mobile Core 2 Duo. If I could find a matching Quad version, would I be able to swap them without causing problems?

How much memory do you have? This could be affecting your performance, too.
