Rebooting before BIOS, no POST beeps
Hello all. I was trying to put together an alternate system (after my primary stopped booting).

So I got a MoBo, CPU, PSU, RAM from a friend. This system was working before I got the system. Well, at least it was as of a couple of months ago. I put the system together for my friend about a year ago, and he upgraded to a new system. So this system is only about a year old.

I get it, and the CPU fan was not fully connected (only connected by one plastic pin). So I got that back in (after a little effort).

I tested the MoBo and CPU outside the case (to isolate any case shorts) and no POST beep. Then after about 8 seconds, it reboots. After the reboot, still no POST beep, but it will stay on. (of course, no video output...when I try it with the GPU in)

I have tried disconnecting every other device (no HDD, no optical drive, no RAM, no GPU). I have also tried each stick of RAM independently in DIMM slot 1.

I have also tried resetting the CMOS by moving the jumper to the 2,3 slot for 30+ seconds. And I have tried removing the MoBo battery and then pressing the power button (to discharge any thing in the PSU).

And yes, I do have the both the 24 pin and 8 pin power cables plugged into the MoBo.

Here's what I'm dealing with:

Thermaltake TX 750w
Asus P5E3 Deluxe MoBo
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
2 2GB OCZ PC3 10666 Platinum Edition RAM

Anyone have any ideas what may be the issue here?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I have also tried the speaker in 2 different cases (to make sure it's not the speaker)
