Vga out stopped working on my laptop please help.
I own a Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop. Not too long ago the screen was broken, and since then I've been using A Samsung Syncmaster 931 Bf hooked up to the vga out port. A few days ago I updated the video driver raedon x1400 mobile, and now the monitor does not respond, and the Fn+F8 appears to do nothing at all (doesnt even try to switch). Right now it is running to the tv through S-Video (Nasty). I am using windows xp sp3. Is there any way to get the vga out to work again ? I cannot access the bios screen as it only appears on the main screen which is screwed.

have you tried setting the settings manually? e.g right click on your desktop, go to properties, and then 'Display Settings'. have a play around with those settings. if it doesn't work... then post back ;D
