Unhappy Pc keeps restarting and blue screen error
hi, am having a wierd problem here. My Computer with the problem is :
Windows XP sp2
Intel core 2 duo 2 ghz
1.5 gb RAM ddr1 ( 1 gb in 1 chip and the other 512 in another chip)
NVIDA Geforce 8400 GS

Anyway, when i switch it on it asks whether i run it on normal mode or safe mode or watever, i choose normal , it give ths xp loader before startup then before it gives the welcome screen and all.. it gives a blue screen error that barely stays for a second and the computer restarts!

I am sure that this is not a video card failure because i tried replacing video cards and am getting the same thing. am now gonna repair my windows xp while booting from the cd and update with you guys, but any suggesstions ?

ok i did the repair now and it told me that it should restart so i pressed enter, then after the restart it asked me to press any key to boot from cd :S i thought that was needed for repair completion or something. It was nothing but it simply gave me the usual booting thing. Now am pressing F3 to quit and here... lets try a normal windows startup
