Thumbs down Reformatting & Clearing Hard Drive Help.
I'm Trying To Clear My Hard Drive Because Of Space Issues.
Since I've Been Using This System For Awhile The Space Has Gotten Filled Up.
I Can Still Use It Quite Well, But It's Close To It's Limit. [35.7 Gigs / 224 Gigs]
I've Already Cleared And Deleted Most Files And Saved The Files I Wanted to Carry Over On Some Flash Drives.
The Problem Is, I Just Don't Know How To Clear The Space While Leaving The Necessary Information.
In Simpler Terms, To The Way It Was Before I Bought It.

Not Very Good At Dealing With The Computer Specs But;

HP Media Center PC.
Windows XP [250 Gigs.]
Model; HP Pavillion a1257c

Anything Else I'm Not Sure About.

So Repeating The Main Question; How Do I Reformat The Hard Drive To Clear Up The Space.?

Suki:

Here is the support and software site for the HP Pavilion a1257c desktop. You should save this site in your browser favorites list for reference to when needed.

----------------------------------------------------------------

That desktop was manufactured in September 2005, so you really don't want to revert it back to a 4-year old outdated original condition.

If you're insistent on doing that though and don't have the recovery CD kit, you can purchase it from here.

Thanks. Followed Your Guy's Advice And Was Able To Get My Memory Back.
All Too Easy As Well.
Once Again, Thank You.
I'll Be Sure To Come Back If I Have Any Other Problems.
It Was Surprisingly Simpler Here; Than The Other Sites I Went To.
