Exclamation Solved: Monitor Stuck In Self Test Mode
I've read the previous posts concerning Monitor Self Test. However, this particular issue may not fit in with them.

All I did was plus in my desktop to a monitor and turn it on. Everything was fine, the monitor was up and running video and all. I shut it down normally, forgot I had to do something... went to turn it back on and voila - Monitor Self Test. That horrid little floating box is causing far too much stress.

I've unplugged, jiggled and restarted all in different orders and still nothing. If anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it!!

Have you plugged the monitor into another system to test if it in fact works?

Since you have been plugging and unplugging the monitor cable, have you inspected it for any bent pins?
