Im not sure of the driver, it came in the box.

Is there anywhere else i can get the driver? like do people make spurius drivers or anything?

Not much left to do now but panic and blame others.
Save my sanity. please.

No you need the correct drivers

I would do this
download those drivers from the link I gave you for 64bit vista (Thats what you have correct)
put them on the desktop

in safe
mode

Device Manager.
(+) sign next to Display Adapters.
Double click on the Graphics Card
Graphics Properties Page,
select driver and click on Uninstall to uninstall the Graphics Drivers.

now reboot into safe mode - should use a default VGA graphics driver
then install the new drivers

Not sure... could be a faulty graphics card ......
But we need to make sure all the correct drivers are installed

If that does not work
you may have to put your old card back and re-install those drivers ... just to make sure everything is working OK.
then get onto nvadia support, where did you buy the card - you may need to exchange for a newone
