Unhappy Mouse won't work, please help!
This is driving me nuts!

I may have deleted some sort of mouse drivers by mistake I'm unsure.

I thought most mouses were plug and play? My machine recognizes my 3 diffrent mouses I plug into it I.e; they all light up, there all optical mouses, but the computer does not respond, I went out and bought a new mouse and keyboard today and when I plugged in the mouse it work for about ONE second..and then stopped in its tracks. I did get a prompt from my task bar saying theres something wrong, click here to fix it...but HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO CLICK IT when my mouse doesn't work....

Please help.

Are these usb type or ps2 type mouse?

While it is a little bit of work, you can navigate in windows without a mouse.

Using the keyboard navigate to the control panel and go to mouses and keyboards and check the driver and mouse settings.

Have you tried a ps2 mouse or a ps2 adapter?
