Faulty graphics card?
I have this problem with many games. These black squares appear in some games for a very little time. I want to know what's causing them? and how to fix it. Is it a faulty graphics card?

It happens a lot in Battlefield 2142, Battlefield 2, OF Dragon Rising.

Most of my games often crash and then recover again.

PC Specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 @ 2.20GHz
3GB RAM (1x 2GB, 1x 1GB)
Club3d HD4850 512mb Overclocked Edition (Latest drivers)
Xilence 580W PSU - Model: XP580.(12)R
Asus P5Q SE PLUS Motherboard
----------
PSU Details:
+3.3V - 25.0A
+5V - 28.0A
+12V1 - 22.0A
+12V2 - 22.0A
-12V - 0.5A
+5VSB - 2.5A
Total power: 580W
-----------
GPU Details:
GPU Clock: 500MHz
Memory Clock: 750MHz

Now, the factory OC settings, that apply when starting a game:
GPU Clock: 665MHz
Memory Clock: 993MHz

The drivers are the latest, from ATI site.
---------

Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit Service Pack 1

Oh and the PC is 2-3 years old. I have upgraded RAM (originally 2x1GB, PSU (Originally a crappy 400w PSU) , motherboard, and GPU (Originally POV 8600GT 512mb). The warranty of my graphics card is still active...
I have NOT overclocked my PC in any way.
My ram... i switched back to 2x1GB sticks that originally came with my pc.... the problem is the same.

I have been struggling with this problem for a while now. It definitely isn't a software problem cause i switched to a new MOBO few days ago and made a clean installation of OS and the problem is still here.
