If just finished my new computer build and, well it is not going to plan. The motherboard is lit up the fans are spinning the hard drive is spinning. The fan on the proccesor and on the video card are spinning. And i see nothing on my tv or my old crt (tested to see if it was the tv)

It seems as if the processor is not working or else it would beep.
the motherboard reads of an error code of "E8" if looked through the manual and there is no such thing as an error code "E8" i need some help from a pro. Thank you

Specs are as follows
MB: EVGA p55 sli
CPU: intel I7 820
VC: Nvidia Zotac 250
Power supply: OCZ 600 watt (is that enough power)
Ram:OCZ 4 gbs of ddr3
Hard Drive: Seagate 1 tb (it has old data on it but no OS)

I have a linux disc ready to install but i cant get to it or the bios....
