No Audio Device!

I recently tried to update drivers for my SigmaTEL (5.10.0.4866) with drivers from LG but it got a 'Connection Error 10' problem. I uninstalled the device and reinstalled it and it doesn't have any problems under Device Manager but when I goto Sound and Audio Devices, everything is greyed out and the only selection is Modem #0 Line Playback. I used to be able to choose between the two.
Any help?
