Need help on upgrading Memory for Dell Dimension 4700
Hi

Can I install 2Gb of RAM on Dell Dimension 4700? Right now, I have two memory slots and each slot comes with 512mb RAM. So, total is 1GB. Every time I turn on my PC, there's a weird sound coming out.

According to the Dell manual the max is 4GB.
