BenQ FP71E+ monitor not working
Hi,

I have been using BenQ FP71E+ monitor for more than 2 yrs now. Of late, I am experiencing this problem that the monitor shows a black screen on switching on the power. It does show the BenQ image for 2 seconds but after that, a black screen comes up. Sometimes, removing and replugging the VGA cable into the CPU makes it work but thats 1 out of 10 times. I dont know whether the cable is faulty or theres some problem with the LCD.

I hope someone here can help me understand n solve my problem.

Gitika.

HI people,

Dont know if I will get any solutions here but now I am experiencing a different problem. Now, my monitor does start but turns black after 5 min. Switching off the monitor and switching it on again makes the display come back again, say for 10 secs or so ( sometimes even a few minutes ).

Hello
I had this exact problem with the exact same monitor model. It turned out to be the power supply which was replaced and it has worked flawlessly for a couple more years. Hope this helps you.
