Solved: help no sound
Hi,

I really need some serious help, my packard bell recently crashed and i had to reinstall windows xp, when i did it had no sound. I installed all the drivers that i needed however still no joy. Today i went out to buy windows 7 in order to fix the problem however i still have no sound. In device manager there is an exclamation mark next to pci modem and in sound section it says:
ASUSTeK Tiger Capture Device
High Definition Audio Device

When i try to update driver for the pci modem it cant find them. i had sound before reformatting my pc and have spent the last two days trying to get it back. Am not a newbie but this one has me stumped. Any help would be appreciated as i hate it when things dont work properly, also dont want to be defeated by pc.
