Exclamation USB riddle...
Riddle me this...

Recently built a computer using Gigabyte EX58-UD5 motherboard.

Having problems with USB devices. USB Mouse, Keyboard, memory sticks, and iPod all work perfectly.

However, when I tried connecting a wi-fi adaptor and a usb tv tuner, it failed to connect. (they were both unresponsive and the standard windows "failed to connect" noise sounded) I tried all USB ports and even installed a USB 2.0 PCI card - same result each time. I'm hoping it is a BIOS or OS problem. I've messed with the USB settings in the BIOS though to no effect.

Yes everything is connected, have used drivers which came with devices in question and they worked with my old computer.

Am I naive in thinking Windows 7, which is due to come in the post, will solve the problem?

I find it strange how the iPod works (so it rules out a lack of power) and yet the tv tuner and wifi - which would use about the same power - dont work.

Any idea's?

Thanks.

I see in your computer specs you are using a 64 bit operating system. Are the drivers you are using for 64 bit?

They are indeed. I downloaded many newer 64bit versions to make sure.
