Question Solved: printer cable
i want to hook up my desk top and laptop to my printer at the same time and not have to change cables every time i want to print, is a y cable avail or maybe some type of switch out there, tks all

What type of printer cable (USB, parallel or ethernet)? Are the computers networked?

If the computers are networked, you can simply share the printer. Better yet is a print server that either computers can access.
