Hi there im fairly computer literate so hit me (:
I ran an Everest report for you all
Basically i just brought a 1GB stick of DDR SDRAM running at PC3200
I have a Compaq dx2000 micro tower desktop PC
I have 2 other RAM units already in 256MB each of Samsung RAM
When i run Everest it says 502MB available RAM obviously from the 2 modules But wont recognize the 1GB module
However when i click on RAM it investigates futher and finds 1Gb Of Kingston Ram
I tryed using Windows > System and it comes up with 502MB of ram
I am running Windows XP Pro
