Intel E7400 w/ 4 gig of mem, Intel G33/31 (built in) chipset for video
Win 7 is working fine but the Microsoft Win 7 evaluator reports that my video section is not compatible. So what am I missing? If it's speed I care and if it's sharper, I care.If it's a frill type advantage I really don't care as much as performance. Reason being that it's working well.
Now if some of you come back and do recommend buying a video card, which one? Please take into consideration that I'm not a gamer. Typical internet and program usage amd movies

It is definitely a frill when you get to use Aero. It might be slightly faster when you don't give memory and processing power to the integrated graphics.
If you don't watch 1920x1080 or higher HD movies, this will work fine: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127436
BUT. AFAIK, your graphics adapter should be Aero compatible, and I see no reason for the evaluator to call it not compatible.

#10 | PCIE is the one to use.
The drivers on the CD are outdated, you get newest and most efficient drivers from ATI site. | | Senior Member with 317 posts. | | Join Date: Sep 2001 Location: Boston Area |
