Solved: how to replace memory
hi

Any tips on how to upgrade memory or things that i should be aware? I just bought two new 1gb ddr2.

What kind of machine are you upgrading the memory in? Is it a laptop or desktop?

You should check what speeds your motherboard supports (available from the manufacturer's website) as well as its maximum capacity. Googling the compatibility of the RAM you've bought and your motherboard is always a good idea. Fitting the memory itself is probably the easiest part of the upgrade.
