Westinghouse 19 in LCD Moniter
I have a westinghouse 19 in moniter. When i boot my pc the windows logon screen appears for a second then goes black. I then have to turn it off and on again. The same thing happens. After I turn it off and on 7 or 8 times it comes on. Any help appreciated.

thanks ChuckIII

This is better suited for hardware.

Top suspect is the inverter board for the backlight. You can replace it if you're at all handy with tools. Here's one of many sites on the repair: http://www.inventgeek.com/projects/shorts/lcdfix.aspx

westinghouse moniter
Might try to replace inverter. What puzzles me is after turning it on 7 or 8 times it comes on and stays on until I log og. there is nothing wrong with the clarity or brightness.
Thanks for your help. Just hate to spend the money if that isn't the problem. Again thanks.
