Motherboard?
Hi All

My friend's comupter needed a fresh installation of windows as it would not start up at all. she has no book about her computer and the only info I could get off the screen was

63-0501 000010 00101111 030205 I915 A0164001 y2kc

I need to know what motherboard this is so that I can get the onboard sound drivers for it. Also, despite trying different monitors with it the page sort of rolls when scrolling on the internet. Does this board need drivers for monitors also.

any help would be gratefully appreciated.

did you install from a recovery CD , off the PC directly using a recovery manager or a retail copy of windows

what windows - XP, Vista

make and model of the PC - all the drivers should be on the website - if you installed from retail CD - then you will need , video, audio, network drivers ++++++

www.belarc.com - that will tell you the motherboard

No recovery disk
NO, I used my old copy of of XP as I have upgraded to Vista. It's a Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo P

I will have another look today, see what else I can find.

I have been to the Fujitsu website and have downloaded the sound card which they have there for the computer.

However, when I go to device manager and go to sound, it doesn't show a sound card as such (device manager screenshot attached).

I've added soundcards etc many, many times before, but this has me stumped. When trying to use media player, it says there is no device, yet the sound section says everything is working OK.

I have also added a screenshot of what Belarc Advisor shows. It shows the motherboard make, but it also shows no audio installed. Do I need to get the motherboard software from somewhere. I can't find it on the Fujitsu site anywhere.

Any help would be appreciated.
