Solved: Printer Low Ink alarm
I have an older printer-Epson Stylus CX3810. I cannot believe my black ink cartridge is empty as often as I am notified. Can this automatic notification be disabled so I can just run the printer until the ink gets light? If so, how?

Secondly, is AbiWord a good choice for a free WP download?

From what I can see AbiWord is a word processor app ONLY. I use Open Office which does everything MS Office does and, like AbiWord, is open source and free. If a WP is all you need, then AbiWord should do the job. But if you would like a more comprehensive suite, look into Open Office.

Not really. I've never used an Epson printer, so I'm not familiar with their features. The best I can suggest is to go into the printer properties and search around for some checkbox or option regarding printer ink level warning.
